So as July gets nearer the realisation for some of us is that we will need to at very least change our travel patterns during the Olympics /ParaOlympics...
So I guess I'm interested in examples of both Positive & Negative impact anticipated on your business and how these are being embraced & mitigated respectfully
Interesting Site here showing likely impact on Roads:

Comment by John Valentine on February 17, 2012 at 19:49 It's going to be an interesting few months over the summer, the inevitable drop in productivity during and around the Euro England games. Then an additional bank holiday leading to long weekends, extra weeks off etc and also the same in the Olympics. I think sickies may be up this year.
Comment by Alan McColgan on February 17, 2012 at 21:05 Bank Holidays and Half term times a business nightmare. If I was running the country... couldn't do worse!! I'd abolish ALL Bank Holidays (what do they need them for anyway?) and add time to everyones holiday entitlement......SIMPLES
Comment by John Valentine on February 18, 2012 at 10:48 If you are a business owner the only good thing about bank hols is at least you know that the rest of the country won't be working so on that day at least you can relax, take the day off in the knowledge that no one is trying to get hold of you or the office/factory is facing a crisis. However the main problem is that people take their hols around the bank holidays to make a nice 5-7 day break whilst only using 3 or 4 days annual leave, multiply that by all the staff doing it and you get a very quiet period for two weeks around the days.
Comment by John Valentine on February 18, 2012 at 10:49 Bank Hols and half terms are the reason we do a nice big event 3 or 4 times a year, we're probably due another one very soon!

Gwyneth’s engagement ring was once her Granmother’s. It is an old style three diamond ring. You might say, well, a lot of girls get their engagement rings passed on to them and you might be right about that. However, reading Gwyneth’s story I sensed neither Gwyneth nor her Gran were what…

The wedding season is officially here! If you have already started looking around in windows or searching the net you must have realised there are so many wedding rings shapes and designs to choose from. The dilemma is which one is the right one for you? To answer this question you should consider the metal, style, design and of course your finger size and the ring size you would like.
