How do people feel about having a network meeting in the late after/evening?
How many people think this would be worth doin?
I find that a lot of business's are looking at coming at a later time?

There has never been any rigid time set for anyone who either wants to run a group or wants to buy a franchise - the time it starts is simply the time they think will attract the businesses to make the group work. I expect a Manchester evening group soon - a couple of ideas on the horizon. Bizset was always about offering choice of time to network, so Warrington staretd at 8.15am and Wigan starts at 9.30am that way people in the area can decide which time suits them best and attend accordingly. The same will be true of evenings.

Permalink Reply by John Valentine on February 23, 2012 at 21:37 Yeah I have thought previously of a monthly evening event, but tbh I would probably just do a fortnightly one. I have been holding off on sorting one as it would be in Manchester but I have had a few people express and interest in a Manchester Centre franchise so was waiting on the resolution of that.

Permalink Reply by John Valentine on February 24, 2012 at 15:34 Agree, I would never do a fill the room and eat pringles type of networking. It would be same format different times, as we have at the moment. I have an idea for the first afternoon evening one.
Permalink Reply by Andrew Bebbington on February 28, 2012 at 16:49 In the past I have been a member of various business clubs which met early evening. None of them lasted very long, possibly because there was no enthusiasm for networking after a days work - most people want to go home for tea!
Permalink Reply by John Valentine on February 28, 2012 at 16:56 Yeah, I know what you mean Andrew. Although most evening meetings tend to be at 6pm/6.30pm through to 8 and 8.30pm, I'm not a fan of these times as it take the whole of your evening and also means you have to have a concerted effort to finish work, then get out of the office/ leave your house later in the evening. To me it messes up your evening. My thought is a 5.15pm to 7.15pm meeting which you can get to after work, or if you are making a special trip to you know you will be home for 8pm, so have some family time/ tea.
Permalink Reply by Shabaz Khan on February 28, 2012 at 17:24 Yes have to agree that I have been to some great meeting at 15:00 till 17:30 and they have a big turn out so would not rule the afternoon/evening networking out..
Permalink Reply by John Valentine on February 28, 2012 at 18:24 Much of it is 6 of one and half a dozen of the other. If I did a 4.15pm-6.15pm meet the journeys would not encounter as much traffic but you would cut short your day more than a 5.15pm start. A 6.15pm start would result in some traffic on the way but none on the way out at 8.15pm, but then your night is gone and you would expect to be fed at the meeting which would put the price up.

Gwyneth’s engagement ring was once her Granmother’s. It is an old style three diamond ring. You might say, well, a lot of girls get their engagement rings passed on to them and you might be right about that. However, reading Gwyneth’s story I sensed neither Gwyneth nor her Gran were what…

The wedding season is officially here! If you have already started looking around in windows or searching the net you must have realised there are so many wedding rings shapes and designs to choose from. The dilemma is which one is the right one for you? To answer this question you should consider the metal, style, design and of course your finger size and the ring size you would like.
